Jannayak Janata Party's (JJP) Amarjeet Dhanda won the Julana Vidhan Sabha seat. He defeated siting MLA and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidate Parminder Singh Dhull with a margin of 24,193 votes. Dhanda received 61, 837 votes, while Parminder got 37,556 votes. Congress candidate Dharmender Singh Dhull came at third spot with 12,371 votes.
