A 23-year-old man from Tripura, Yeachin Miah, has been arrested by Chennai police for allegedly forcing his Bangladeshi girlfriend into sex work after luring her to India under the pretext of helping her find employment. The woman, who had entered India using forged documents, was also arrested under the Foreigners Act.
