A preliminary probe into the matter has revealed that Shabnam along with her daughter was burnt to death inside her in-laws house at 8am on Wednesday. According to Javed, the deceased's brother, Shabam's four-year-old marriage with Mohammad Qasim had turned estrange over dowry issues and she was living with her maternal family for the past few months.
