The city came to a standstill on Wednesday following extremely heavy rainfall. Due to waterlogging, vehicular movement on the roads as well as trains were stopped causing extreme inconvenience to Mumbaikars. The IMD has issued an orange alert with a forecast of “heavy to very heavy” rainfall at some places on Thursday for Mumbai and its neighbouring areas.
