The preliminary probe, along with the local media reports, has revealed that the victim - Rajkumar Valmiki - was carrying a dead cow by bragging it through a tractor. He was apprehended by cow vigilantes at Bapawar Road in Sangod. The gau rakshaks called Sangod Nagar Palika Chairman Devkinandan Rathore and asked him to intervene in the issue.
