Girish Chandra Murmu on Thursday took oath as the first lieutenant governor of the newly formed union territory of Jammu and Kashmir. The oath-taking ceremony took place at Raj Bhavan in Srinagar. Jammu and Kashmir High Court Chief Justice Gita Mittal administered the oath of Office.
