Jaat marks the Bollywood debut of Telugu director Gopichand Malineni who has written the screenplay with Srinivas Gavireddy. The movie stars Sunny Deol, Regina Cassandra, Randeep Hooda, Vineet Kumar Singh, Saiyami Kher, Ramya Krishnan, Jagapathi Babu and Zaina Wahab.
