Punjab Kings announced the appointment of former Sri Lanka and England coach Trevor Bayliss as their new head coach for the 2023 IPL season. Bayliss has guided Kolkata Knight Riders to title successes in the 2012 and 2014 IPL seasons. He will take charge of the side after legendary India spinner Anil Kumble decided to part ways with the franchise after a three-year stint.
