Kiran Rao's upcoming film, Laapataa Ladies, is set to release on March 1, 2024. The film marks Rao's directorial return after 2010's Dhobi Ghat and is produced by Aamir Khan Production and Kindling Productions. Set in rural India in 2001, the film follows the comical chaos that ensues when two young brides go missing from a train.
