In a bid to make the journeys more spectacular, the Indian Railways has shared pictures of Sampark Kranti Express of Bihar with 12565 coaches which is set to run on the tracks on August 23. There are few trains, the coaches of which have been designed keeping our heritage in mind. Unlike the regular ones, this fresh express beautifully showcases Mithila or as commonly known as Madhubani Art. It is mostly practised in the Mithila region of Bihar in India and Nepal. On that note, the Sampark Kranti Express will begin its first journey on August 23, departing from Darbhanga at 08:25 am.

Aren’t they amazing? For those who are not aware of how Mithila Painting is done, well artists use their fingers, twigs, brushes, nib-pens and matchsticks, using natural dyes and pigments to give it a perfect finishing. It is popularly characterised by its eye-catching geometrical patterns. This painting as a form of wall art was practised widely throughout Mithila. Clearly, there cannot be any other idea or style than the roots, the Madhubani art to make Sampark Kranti Express more elegant. We cannot wait for more to know the travellers' experience in this freshly-painted train.
