How to reach Lalbaugcha Raja by Train
The nearest railway station to go to Lalbaug by train is Parel or Currey Road on the Central line. If you want to get a Mukha Darshan (only the face of the Lord Ganesha) then there is a separate line. To reach there, Chinchpokali, Byculla (central line), or Cotton Green (harbour line) stations are the nearest options. If you do not know much about the railway stations, then you can even head to Lalbaug from Dadar station, which is accessible from the central and western line. You can take a cab from there onwards.
How to reach Lalbaugcha Raja by Road
There are buses that go till Lalbaug from Parel and Dadar. You can also take a cab. From Dadar, it is about 3.3 kms via Hindamata Flyover and Dr Baba Saheb Ambedkar Road. Alternately, you can directly head to Lalbaug via the Dr Baba Saheb Ambedkar Road.
One thing that everyone should be clear about while heading to take Lalbaugcha Raja Darshan is whether they want to take the Navas Darshan or just the Mukha Darshan. There are separate lines for each and be prepared to stand in those lines for hours. The pandal is open for 24 hours so there is not an ideal time to visit. Although, you can visit in the night for the quicker moving of lines.
