The monsoon season is arriving and the sales have begun. Airlines have started offering special discounts and it is the best time to book your tickets if you are looking for a budget travel plan. There are offers on both domestic and international routes by different airlines. GoAir, Jet Airways, AirAsia and SpiceJet have some bumper discounts available. Here are some of the discount deals offered by these airlines.
GoAir: GoAir is known for its budget rates and they are now providing additional discounts. Their discounted fares are as low as Rs. 1,299 which includes all taxes for a one-way journey. It is a limited period offer starting today at midnight. The travel period is from between June 24 and September 30. The booking is valid for travel on all non-stop and via flights on GoAir's network.
AirAsia: AirAsia is giving discounts on domestic flights, with flights to major cities costing Rs. 1399. You can avail this scheme for your tickets to Bengaluru, Delhi, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Ranchi, Bhubaneswar along with some other cities. The monsoon sale is on till June 10 and the travel period is valid till the end of November.
The airline also has some discounts on the international flights. All inclusive flights start from Rs. 3999 on routes on international routes like Australia, New Zealand and Asian countries. The lowest fare under this sale - Rs. 3,999 - is for Visakhapatnam-Kuala Lumpur and Bhubaneswar-Kuala Lumpur route.
Jet Airways: Jet Airways have announced new operations with the 'Ude Desh ka Aam Naagrik' (UDAN) scheme. They are offering new routes with this scheme. From June 14, Jet Airways will start operations three times a week on Lucknow-Allahabad, Allahabad-Patna route. From June 15 it will start on Delhi-Nashik route. Under the scheme, the fare rates will be as low as Rs. 967 on certain routes.
SpiceJet: SpiceJet doesn't exactly have a monsoon sale but has the weekend discounts going on. The airline is giving almost 50% discounts on flight bookings but it is more for specific credit card holders. SpiceMax with HDFC Bank credit cards can enjoy their 'Happy Weekends' scheme on every Friday, Saturday and Sunday. You can avail this offer by using the promo code HDFCMAX. Non-Spicemax passengers get Rs. 150 discounts.
People usually avoid travelling during the monsoons, the first quarter of July. To boost more travel the airlines have announced big discounts. With some international ticket fares also as low as Rs. 5000, it is a good time to book tickets, even if you are planning for a trip later towards the end. So start booking and grab a good deal, as the discounts are a limited period offer.
