  • Do not attempt to observe the partial or total phase of Solar eclipse with naked eyes.
  • All kinds of food consumption, both eating and drinking are prohibited during this period.
  • Idols of God, Tulsi and Shami trees should not be touched.
  • Pregnant women are advised to not venture out during the solar eclipse. They should stay at home to avoid the ill effects on the baby.
  • It is also believed that any auspicious task must be avoided during Surya Grahan.

The solar eclipse will not be visible in India since it going to take place during the night. The Weather Channel reported that Solar Eclipse will be going through a path measuring 6,000 miles and will pass through a narrow zone of the Pacific Ocean and North America. It can also cast a dark shadow over some parts of Chile, Argentina and remotes of South Pacific.
