Snowflakes, snowballs, and shiver give such a good feel to chill, quite literally. We have always fascinated by the white pure snow and thanks to our obsession with Bollywood, it paints a romantic picture. While few parts of India get to experience quite a heavy snowfall, those staying away from the snowy areas crave to take a trip there. And here we have a journey for you.
A video shared by our railway minister Piyush Goyal will make you want to take a train ride soon. This video shows a train passing through a railway station thickly covered in snow and will make you experience the coolness of it on your seats. The Banihal train passes through a station and leaving alone the train everything other is just white snow. The train passes swiftly through the tracks and it is a dreamy sight. Banihal station connects the Kashmir valley with other rail networks.
With its mesmerizing beauty, you cannot just help but share it. So when Mr Goyal uploaded it on his Twitter, it got instantly viral. People started comparing it to the ones in Switzerland. Not just the railway station, the video also shows snow-capped mountains in the background. You just cannot help but think of taking this train ride at least once. Among the many who admired was former South African cricketer Jonty Rhodes. He too couldn’t resist expressing his desire of taking this train ride with his family.
