Let's bake memories - the cake shop in London took to its Instagram page to share the pictures of their brand new design that was inspired by the intricate embroidery on PeeCee's red lehenga. The baker fell in love with its detailing and replicating it on a cake was a challenging task. It was time-consuming but worth it since he/she feels this is his proudest achievement to date. And going by its pictures, well, it's indeed a masterpiece and we wonder how delicious it would taste. A closer glimpse of the cake
The Kanauj Rose lehenga was loaded with hand-embroidered and hand-cut organza flowers, french knots in silk floss, delicate Siam-red crystals and layer upon layer of threadwork embroidery. According to the designer's Instagram page, 110 embroiderers from Kolkata took 3720 hours to create this modern masterpiece and it was totally worth it. The bride was always adamant on getting a red lehenga choli for her Hindu wedding and Sabyasachi just read her mind right. It's just another feather in Mrs Jonas' hat since a cake getting inspired by her wedding trousseau is not an ordinary thing.
