We all remember when Netflix was introduced in India and the buzz phrase 'Netflix and chill' which meant according to Urban Dictionary meant, "A slang phrase meaning to watch a program on Netflix, a popular home movie and television application, and often to have sexual intercourse during or after watching the program." However, a new study has revealed a very contradictory statistic that shows that Netflix is actually making people NOT have enough sex. Yes, The Wall Street Journal experts believe that Netflix is actually causing a hindrance between couples as it has so many binge-worthy shows that it’s becoming the new birth control. Recently, the National Center for Health Statistics had revealed that US fertility rates have hit an all-time low. "Archives of Sexual Behavior," a 2017 paper offered up streaming services as one possible factor for a decline in sexual frequency among adults. The study’s lead author, Dr Jean Twenge, explained the behaviour in the study by saying: "If you’re watching something streaming, the next episode is immediately available, and there are no commercials where you could look over and say, ‘Honey, you look cute tonight." Netflix, Hotstar to Censor Content in India to Avoid Government Regulation, Says Report.
A recent survey says that one in four people admitted to turning down having sex so that they could binge watch shows on Netflix. Data was covered from 1000 people in 6 month and other streaming services were also taken into consideration. People would rather watch shows like Stranger Things or Sex Education on Netflix than have sex.

The thought that Netflix will bring couples together and that they might end up having sex has crashed and the reality is people are rather getting addicted to Netflix and not having sex at all.
