The newest addition to the British Royal Family Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor is already living a charmed life within weeks of his arrival. A bevvy of VVIPs is lining up to become godparents to the tot and are visiting the Frogmore Cottage to meet the royal baby. His mom Meghan Markle has some high profile friends, two of whom may become Little Archie’s Godparents. The Daily Mail reported that Williams visited Archie with husband Alex Ohanian and daughter Olympia in tow. According to the daily, she dropped by to see the baby before heading out to Paris to prepare for the French Open Tournament. She even shared a picture and video on Instagram. In the video, she can be seen dancing in one of the royal rooms. Her low profile visit has sparked speculations that she could be in running for the Godmother’s position for Baby Archie. A godparent in Christianity is a person who presents the child during the baptism ritual. The person will have to be responsible for the child’s religious education. Usually, godparents are close friends of the parents who share similar religious and moral views.

Serena is one of the greatest athletes of our times and to have her as a godparent is beyond cool! She was also one of the high profile guests at Meghan’s high-profile wedding with Prince Harry.

If not Serena, Jessica Mulroney, who is BFFs with Meghan could end up as Archie’s godmother. But there has been no official confirmation from the Buckingham Palace.
