What started as an interest for Shahid at the age of 20, is today his profession and needless to say, there is no turning back.  Journey as an Artist! Shahid Naar is born and brought up in the city of Amritsar and he started his career as a Makeup Artist in the year 2008. He initially worked in a salon for 3 years and then emerged as a freelancer, winning Best Celebrity Makeup Artist.

He shares, ' I think in my academy we make sure that the class is very friendly filled with openness and transparency. I always tell them to ask whatever you want to, clear every seeming doubt and just believe in yourself and I've actually observed alot of people who joined with no basic skills and graduating as a Professional. Meeting and greeting them after years and realising that they admire you as their Mentor. For me, Mentor is a big word. '

Where people used to see makeup artist from years now was whole different than today. It has not only generated employment and earning opportunities to people but it's a respectable work too. 'When I joined as a makeup artist my parents were not really supportive, they used to see makeup was a woman oriented career option, but now it's all opposite, we have alot of examples today, who being male have contributed tremendously in the industry', says Shahid.  Working with the leading celebrities like, Neha kakkar, Kanika Kapoor, Huma Qureshi, Neeru Bajwa and many more, he carries on the journey to fulfill his part of life.
