Andrii has performed with Cirqu du Soleil's QUIDAM production as a flyer in Banquin - one of the show's featured acts. As a flyer, he was responsible for carrying out some of the most difficult and captivating stunts that, without a doubt, were the highlights of the entire show. He then transitioned to perform in Cirque du Soleil's KURIOS as a principal acrobatic character, performing a mesmerizing acrobatic solo act of hand-balancing on chairs. Andrii joined Cirque du Soleil with tremendous accomplishments in Sports Acrobatics and Circus Arts.
Andrii is a many time national champion of Ukraine, holds the distinction of Merited Master of Sports (the highest distinction in the sport in the Ukraine), and even the prestigious Presidential Medal of Merit. Among his international accolades in acrobatics are the following medals: Silver at the 2004 World Championships, France; Gold at the 2005 World Cup, Belgium; and Gold at the VII World Games for non-Olympic sports (2005), Germany. Since sports acrobatics is not an Olympic sport, these are the highest conceivable achievement in Sports Acrobatics.
Andrii competed at the foregoing major international events as a member of the Ukraine's National Team. This membership, in and of itself, is a remarkable accomplishment given Ukraine's traditional top ranking in sports acrobatics. His selection to Ukraine's National Sports Acrobatics Team indicates his world-class stature.
His accomplishments in the circus arts include top prizes at the renowned international circus festivals, including Bronze at the X International Circus Festival City of Latina, performing as part of the "Men in Black" troupe, (2008), Italy; and Silver at the VIII Moscow International Youth Festival-Contest in the Circus Arts, (2009), Russia.
The many highlights of Andrii's career clearly indicate that he has risen to the very top of his profession. He is one of the most decorated athletes to have ever performed in the spot-light of a Cirque du Soleil show and clearly one of the most accomplished acrobats in the world.
