However, among the many dangerous side effects that accompany these unhealthy habits, one of the most harmful ones is, infertility which means lower sperm count in males. Wearing tight underwear all the time

Smoking has several ill-effects on the human body including lung cancer. So, how does smoking affect sperm count? A study proves that smoking introduces the presence of free radicals in seminal fluid, which makes the sperm movements slow. A toxin named; Carbon monoxide is released when one smokes cigarettes. This toxin damages the sperms and has other harmful effects on the body.

Drinking Uncontrollably

Again, alcohol releases toxins that can have adverse effects on your body. Not only does it lower your sperm count but also causes damage to the sperms.

You have a desk job

Having a sedentary lifestyle can affect sperm count too. It is always advisable to lead an active life and have a job that’s got some kind of activity and movement involved.

You are inactive in bed

Having a healthy sex life can also improve sperm count. The more sex you have, the more sperms you produce.

You take too many supplements

The more Vitamin C you intake, the more are the chances for your body to produce sperms. Not just Vitamin C, but also other vegetables and fruits with high nutritive value are recommended to be consumed to have a healthy sperm count.
