This particular pose called halasana or the plough pose can be especially helpful.

Steps to Get Into the Pose

  1. Lie flat on your back and place your arms by the sides of your body.
  2. Now bend your knees so that your feet lay flat on the floor.
  3. Slowly raise your legs from the hips and place your hands on your hips as for support.
  4. Bend your legs from the hips and try to touch the floor behind with your toes behind your head.
  5. Now straighten your hands, so they lay flat on the floor.
