The team of researchers studied how blowjobs impacted the health of babies by studying 234 women. Ninety-seven percent of the women suffered from miscarriages. The researchers found that women who refused to perform fellatio on their partners were the ones who miscarried the most.
The findings of the study are published in the Journal of Reproductive Immunology. But men shouldn’t get the wrong idea. Swallow semen not only helps women carry the pregnancy to term, but also helps women get pregnant. A study by the University of Saskatchewan found a protein in semen that could trigger ovulation. It was found to work as a signalling hormone that triggers the release of ovulation hormones.

A study by the University of Santa Barbara, California shows that swallowing semen could offer protection from breast cancer. A survey of 15,000 women who consumed their partners’ semen at least twice a week had their breast cancer risk reduced from 10.4 percent to 1.9 percent. Argininosuccinate Chrysotrophin, an enzyme in semen, is said to have anti-cancer properties.
So here are all the science-backed benefits of swallowing semen. But ladies, beware. Swallowing semen may not be advisable at all times, and some of the risks may outweigh the benefits. Certain sexually-transmitted infections such as Hepatitis B and C, herpes, chlamydia can be spread through semen. While it’s completely the woman’s call, it’s advisable to weigh the pros and cons of swallowing semen.
