However, leaving the doctors even more shocked, the man decided to ignore their advice and just left the hospital. He said that when he was in the emergency room, he had pain in his knee and some pain in his penis but no other symptoms suggesting an STI, as per India Times. What is Penis Ossification?
Ossification is said to be a process during which the affected body part slowly starts turning into bone. Also known as osteogenesis, it is a process of laying down new bone material by cells called osteoblasts. Ossification in the Penile region is extremely rare with fewer than 40 histologically confirmed reported cases.
