Actor Pamela Anderson has been known to be an ardent follower of a vegan lifestyle and on Friday she went ahead to write a letter to Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi urging him to help India's fight against climate change by serving vegan food at all government events.

Anderson wrote to the prime minister on behalf of People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals. Also known as PETA, the organisation supports animals and exposes animals suffering in laboratories and various industries.
