About two days ago, Sheetal Sheth reported fans on her social media, letting them know she was diagnosed with breast cancer about six months ago. She followed up with a video this morning on her twitter, answering questions about the disease and educating people more about it. After today’s video on Twitter, Lisa Ray made sure to remind Sheetal how strong she was. She replied to her tweet with “Warrior, bad ass mama you”. She received tonnes of positive comments and support from Twitter users.

Sheetal also posted a picture on her Instagram with a lengthy caption, thanking everyone for the support. Her caption read “Thank you all for the wishes and love.Happy Birthday to me. Lisa was also diagnosed with cancer with multiple myeloma in 2009. In 2010, she announced she was cancer-free after stem cell transplant. Sheetal is yet to recover and fans and close ones of the actress wish her a speedy recovery.
