Moreover, cloves work as an antiseptic and can help fight germs and control infections from spreading. Cloves are also known to be very effective against cavities and help beat pain and sensitivity caused by it. Clove oil or powder have been used for dental care since eternity and have also been added to dental products such as toothpaste, mouthwashes etc. Clove oil is also used topically on the affected area. Dentists also mix clove oil with zinc oxide and use it as a temporary filling and soothe the nerve of the tooth.

How to Use Clove For Toothache

Simple ways to use clove for aching tooth is to directly stick a few cloves buds touching the painful area and keep them for 20 minutes at least. You can also chew them slowly. You will soon feel pain reducing from the affected area. You can do this using clove powder or clove oil as well. However, remember to dilute clove oil as it is usually quite strong.
