Durex #MainAurMeriFantasy: Sexologist Dr Mahindra Watsa Answers Sex Queries on Twitter
Durex India's Twitter handle was taken over by the famous Indian sexologist, Dr Mahindra Watsa.
You don’t have to be an avid reader of the Mumbai Mirror to know who Dr Mahindra Watsa is. The sassy sexologist has always made us chuckle with his witty and sarcastic replies to bizarre sex queries. But the usually smart-alecky sexpert was at his tamest best when he took over the Durex Twitter handle today, as he answered sex queries posed by Twitter users today. Dr Watsa is a part of Durex’s #MainAurMeriFantasy campaign that explores some of the real-life sexual fantasies of Indians. Topics like sex are still swept under the carpet in the country and scores of Indians don’t discuss or address problems in their sex life. The whole point of the Durex’s Twitter campaign is to get people to talk about sex and be open about their deepest darkest fantasies. It invited Twitter users for tête-à-tête with the sexologist who was only happy to address their private queries. Here are some of the questions Dr Watsa answered on Twitter.
On Role playing
A housewife was left stunned when her husband insisted she wear a nurse's costume in bed.
What to do when the condom breaks
One of the commonest accidents during sex is condom breakage. When a user addressed the issue, Dr Watsa suggested ways to avoid the mishap.
Fantasising about the ex
This user found himself in a rather tricky situation, where he had to stop himself from screaming his ex’s name during sex.
Losing the libido
A young guy asked the sexpert whether abstaining from sex could affect his libido.
Losing the spark after marriage
Dr Watsa has also addressed the very common sexual problem of losing the sexual spark after marriage.
Diet for a good sex life
It turns out, there is a formula for an awesome sex life – Good diet and a healthy lifestyle.
Dr Watsa who’s known for his rib-tickling replies to ridiculous sexual queries was at his best behaviour on Twitter, answering all the queries in a paternal, dignified manner. But that doesn’t mean there was no mischief happening. Many Twitter users also capitalised on the opportunity to crack a few jokes of their own on everything from PM Modi to Rahul Gandhi. However, Durex's efforts at destigmatising sexual problems and creating an avenue for addressing them was well appreciated by the Twitterati.
