According to a doctor at the Port Moresby General Hospital, over the last two years, his clinic has treated about 500 men with penile disfigurement and dysfunction as a result of injections, as per Daily Mail. He further said, "I have seen five new cases every week for the past two years and these are the ones that have come forward for treatment. We don’t know how many of them are out there. I saw seven today.” Akule Danlop, a surgeon at the hospital said to the esteemed portal. The substances usually people inject their penises with are: coconut oil, baby oil, silicone and cooking oil. The side effects are of these DIY treatment are extremely serious, sometimes irreversible.
