A man from China had some history of coronary heart disease and high blood pressure. His age could've also been a factor as he was above 70 years. As per reports in Oriental Daily, The incident took place earlier this month in Wenzhou, Zhejiang. A 72-year-old man with surname Zhu was suffering from constipation. He did not have any bowel movement from three days and thus decided to try out with much force in the toilet. But he fell unconscious and had to be immediately rushed to the hospital. In the hospital, he was pronounced dead. The doctors also gave a warning that when someone tries to exert too much pressure while urinating or defecating, it increases the body's internal pressure too. The nerves are disrupted which affect the heart rate and blood pressure. In turn, the supply of blood to the heart is affected causing a cardiac arrest. This patient already had a history of coronary disease, which worsened it for him. So it is not a wise idea of exerting too much pressure, instead, seek immediate medical help.
