The "100 percent plant-based diet" was supervised by exercise physiologist Marco Borges.

She opted for a plant-based diet that shuns any kind of refined food items like bread, junk food, any kind of unhealthy carbs, sugar, dairy, meat, fish and alcohol. The "100 percent plant-based diet" was supervised by exercise physiologist and Beyoncé’s friend, Marco Borges. Marco advocates the plant-based diet in the video saying, "Plant-based [diet] is really about eliminating all the overly processed foods that don’t do us any good anyway.
