In a heart-breaking incident, a two-month-old baby died on AirAsia flight after suffering from a medical episode. The flight was bound to Perth, Australia from Kuala Lumpur. Baby Farah's parents were about to begin their new life in Australia, and for that the were travelling to Perth; however, the flight soon became a nightmare for the Saudi couple after the baby died, following a medical episode. The passengers described the baby's consistent crying as 'chaos.' A fellow passenger Nadia Parenzee penned down the incident on her Facebook page. Nadia Parenzee's post read: "Flying home from Malaysia this morning I encountered the most confronting situation one could possibly go through.
I had a newborn baby take her last dying breath in my arms. A Saudi couple were on their way to start a new life for themselves here in Australia. At the start of the flight, the baby was really restless and cried continuously. I offered the parents and the staff some assistance as I could see that the new parents were stressed. As I closed my eyes to catch some sleep the Air Asia hostess tapped me on the shoulder to help her." She further said, "The parents offered the baby to me with desperation in their eyes I took her in my arms and immediately read Surah Fatiha. Then baby Farah took her last breath and went limp. I immediately knew something was horribly wrong and shouted out to the passengers to see if there were any Doctors on board. The 2 1/2 hour chaos began, resuscitation continued until we landed. My heart is numb, and I don’t know how to feel, but I am honestly honoured to have held her and read a prayer on her before she passed. To the unbelievable staff of Air Asia, you were amazing, and I commend your professionalism. Rest In Peace baby Farah. Inna Lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji'un."

As per the passenger, the airline did try its best to control the situation. Also, as the plane landed at 5.30am police and medical specialists were called. AirAsia says that it won't comment on the case but the health of the passengers is its priority.
