Desi ghee is a good source of energy as it contains medium and short-chain fatty acids, in which lauric acid is a potent antimicrobial and antifungal substance. The presence of fatty acids in desi ghee can help nourish dull and dry skin, therefore, it can also be used as a remedy for dry and chapped lips.
