The tri-colour is perhaps the most tangible and potent symbol of freedom. 1. Lemon Chicken

Marinate the chicken with salt and pepper to suit your palate and pre-heat the oven to 400° F. Now, heat a large skillet over medium heat and cook the chicken pieces until golden brown. Transfer the chicken on a baking sheet and bake for 15 to 20 minutes. Next cook lemon slices on a skillet until golden, mix in the olives and top over the chicken. 2. Corn and Spinach Stuffing

Heat oil in a pan and add chopped garlic and onions and saute. Next, add chopped spinach along with corn and cook well. 3. Tri-coloured Penne Pasta

Boil penne pasta for 8 to 10 minutes. In a large skillet, cook broccoli, onions and butter for three minutes. Cover and cook for two minutes. Next, drain the penne, add to the skillet and toss. 4. Sundried tomato and marjoram stuffing

5. Cottage Cheese and Carrot Sandwich

For the orange layer, mix carrots, eggless mayonnaise and salt. For the green layer, combine cottage cheese with pudina chutney. Now spread the green coat over a slice of brown bread, place a cheese slice on it, and then spread the orange overlay on the cheese slice. Top with another slice of brown bread and grill.
