So for today's recipe is the filling and delicious, sabudana kheer also known as sago kheer. Ingredients
- Soaked sago - 1/2 cup (100 gms)
- Full cream milk - 1 ltr
- Sugar - 1/3 cup ( 75 gms)
- Cashews - 10 to 12
- Almonds - 10 to 12
- Raisins - 2 tbsp
- Cardamoms - 5 to 6
- Pistachios - 15 to 20
Steps To Make Sabudana Kheer:
- Boil some full cream milk and cut the dry fruits. Meanwhile, crush the cardamom and make a coarse powder.
- As the milk boils, add the soaked sago pearls to milk. Stir and cook kheer on high flame till it boils again.
- As it boils, stop stirring add raisins and other dry fruits. Stir at regular intervals and cook the kheer on medium flame till dense.
- Once dense, add sugar. Add cardamom powder, mix and cook for 1 to 2 minutes. Kheer is ready, turn off the flame. Keep it to cool.
