Happy Navratri 2019 to you and your family! It is that time of the year again. The nine-day festival dedicated to worshipping Maa Durga has finally arrived. Some parts of India also celebrated Navratri as Durga Puja or Durga Utsav. Primarily a Hindu festival, Navratri offers prayers to the nine incarnations of Goddess Durga, each day of the festival. The nine forms of Maa Shakti are Goddess Shailputri, Brahmacharini, Chandraghanta, Kushmandal, Skandmata, Katyayani, Kalratri, Mahagauri and Siddhatri. The celebration of Navratri also aims at bringing people together for the festivities. Apart from community jagratas and bhajan nights, one simple thing that makes the celebration special for one and all is the Navratri colour chart. Each day of Navratri has a colour attributed to it, and you can express your creativity by wearing the colour each day. Alternatively, you can also cook according to the colour chart. Just like yesterday, day one was dedicated to the colour orange, and we suggested you try out gajar ka halwa. Day two of Navratri 2019 it's all about the colour white.
