The scorching sun is up and we experience sweating the moment we step out and spend two minutes in the sun. the beginning of summers is thus never a pleasant feeling, at least in India. The intensity of heat in the atmosphere is getting difficult to deal with each year. The temperatures area reaching 40 degrees and it is a scary sign. But then we cannot use the summers as an excuse to not do our day jobs. Be it attending school, college or workplace we need to brace the heat. And the best way to keep yourself cool is eating the proper foods that will keep you cool. You could resort to eating these foods that can keep you cool in summers.

  1. Cucumbers

    Cucumbers are very prominent part of our salads. In summers make sure you have more of them since they have a cooling effect on your body. And it is so nutritious since it has nutrients like Vitamin K, Vitamin C, Magnesium, Riboflavin, B-6, Folate, etc. They also help in eliminating toxic material from your body. So ask your mom for some extra cucumber in your meals.

    These are just some foods that can keep you healthy and refreshing even in the sweaty summers. Other than a proper intake of food, make sure you drink a lot of water to keep yourself properly hydrated.
