Dirt Cake
Crush the Oreo cookies using a food processor into fine crumbs and set aside. In a large bowl, whisk together instant pudding mix with milk for about two minutes and let it sit for five minutes. In another bowl beat together the cream cheese and butter on medium speed until light and fluffy, for about minutes and then add the sugar. With a spatula, combine the cream cheese mixture into the chocolate pudding. Layer in a bowl by alternating layers of crushed Oreos and pudding. Top it with gummy worms to give it a spooky look. Halloween Walnuts
Line a plate or baking sheet with parchment paper. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt some white chocolate. This should take anything between one to two minutes on a low setting. Dip walnut halves into melted white chocolate and transfer to parchment paper. Using a spoon, drizzle more white chocolate over the walnuts to create the look of "bandages." While the chocolate is still melted, add googly eye candies. Refrigerate until the candy is set, about 30 minutes.
Easy Oreo Eye Balls
Carefully remove the frosting of the Oreos, and melt some white chocolate in a microwave. Transfer the melted white chocolate to a piping bag and snip a very small hole in the piping bag. Draw five to six squiggly lines on each Oreo half to represent blood vessels. Add a gummy to each Oreo half to represent the iris, and nestle an upside-down chocolate chip in each gummy to represent the pupil. Refrigerate for 10 minutes, or until the melted chocolate hardens. Spider Peanut Butter Cookies
Get some peanut butter cookies from the market and give a Halloween spin to the peanut butter blossoms. Just carefully press chocolate disc into the centre of each cookie and do some icing to create the legs and eyeballs of the spider. Use white icing for the eyeballs and melted dark chocolate for the legs. You can use toothpicks to paint the dark chocolate.
Ghost Toast
To start the day with a fun scare, try this easy recipe. Generously butter one side of the bread and carefully cut a ghost-like shape out of aluminium foil using a paring knife. Press the foil on top of the buttered bread. Whisk together the cinnamon and sugar, and generously sprinkle the cinnamon sugar over the buttered bread. Now bake the bread in an OTG until the sugar has melted and browned. Cool the bread for a minute and peel off the aluminium foil to reveal the shape. Trick or Treat? You can also make a ghost lollipop bouquet. First, give your mason jar a few layers of black spray paint with adequate dry time between coats. Now cut 4" x 4" squares of white cotton and drape over the top of the lollipop, and tie with a piece of twine. Dab on eyes with black fabric paint or a paint pen, and you are ready to stick your mini ghosts into your jar.
