American football players Ali Krieger and Ashlyn Harris who represent the United States at the 2019 FIFA Women's World Cup may become the first professional sports teammates to get married. The lesbian couple play for the Orlando Pride in Florida. As they get ready to compete for the final this weekend, Vogue shared a photo of the duo confirming their marriage. However, social media always erupted in rumours every time the duo posted pictures together. Fans also clubbed their names and began addressing them as Krashlyn on social media. Talking about their engagement, Ashlyn told Vogue that it happened while clicking a sunset photo in Clearwater Beach in Flordia. As Ali was blocking the view, Ashlyn told her to move. It was then she noticed the ring that Ashlyn had been hiding all the while.

Ashlyn was quoted as saying, "It's taken us a long time to figure out what balance looks like. I think the first step for us was making our relationship public. We wanted to come out and say this is who we are." The couple hopes to adopt children in the future. The duo will tie the knot in December.
