Theme of World Teachers' Day 2019

Each year this day is marked with a specific theme which peeks more into the field of educators. In 2019, World Teachers’ Day will celebrate teachers with the theme, "Young Teachers: The future of the Profession." As it suggests, the theme aims to encourage more youngsters to come into the profession of teaching. So while the day not only celebrates the work of a teacher it also looks into the challenges and how to attract more people to work towards educating others worldwide.

In India, teacher's day is marked on September 5 each year to celebrate the birth of Dr Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan.
