September 5 marks the celebration of Teachers' Day in India. The profession of teachers is very important and at most times remains undermined. Our teachers, academic or non-academic have played an instrumental role in shaping the early days of our school and college. Teachers' day in India has been celebrated since the year 1962. It is celebrated on different dates in different countries. Marking one day to honour the role of our teachers in our lives seems too less now that we have grown up and realised the importance of their lessons.
