Bose was one of the notable figures in the history of India as he believed in more direct action against the British. He formed the Indian National Army (INA) and sought support from countries like Japan and Germany during World War II to drive the British out of India. Bose is considered the most influential freedom fighter with extraordinary leadership skills. Subhas Chandra Bose was famous as Netaji. In 1943, he raised the first Indian National Army (INA), Azad Hind Fauj, and started an armed coup that inspired thousands of Indian youths to join the struggle for independence. Netaji’s famous slogans are 'tum mujhe khoon do, main tumhe aazadi dunga', 'Jai Hind', and 'Delhi Chalo'.
Despite being chosen for the Indian Civil Services (ICS), Bose refused to work for the British government. In 1921, Bose enlisted in the Indian National Congress, which was founded on December 28, 1885. He also founded the ‘Swaraj’ newspaper, the most famous newspaper during the freedom struggle. Netaji also established the All India Forward Bloc to support the freedom struggle as a division of Congress in 1939.
