Mumbai, June 12: The people of the Muslim community follow the ritual of Roza (a type of fasting) during the entire month of Ramzan. In the parts of Indian subcontinent region, the holy month of Ramadan ul-Kareem began in the month of mid-May. There are speculations doing the rounds that the Eid moon will be sighted on June 14. The people who witnessed the crescent moon on 29th Sha’ban began their fasting from May 17. However, those who couldn’t and instead sighted it on the next day began their Rozas from May 18.
For the people living in Delhi, they will see their Sehri time end at 04.06 am, whereas their Iftar time will begin at 07.20 pm. The people of Muslim community living in Mumbai city will see their Sehri time end at 04.52 am, whereas the Iftar will begin from 07.17 pm.
The residents of Bhopal city will end their Sehri time at 04.23 am; their Iftar time is scheduled to begin at 07.07 pm. The citizens living in Srinagar city will observe Sehri after 03.55 am, and their Iftar time will end at 07.43 pm.

When will the Eid Moon 2018 be sighted?
The followers of Islam, who are observing Roza this year, and are living in the Middle East, Pakistan, Singapore, Malaysia, Maldives, Australia and some parts of India might sight the Eid moon on June 14. If they are able to view the moon, they will celebrate the Eid-al-Fitr celebrations on June 15.
However, states in India – Assam, West Bengal, Karnataka, and Maharashtra – and Bangladesh will attempt to view the Eid moon on June 15. If they are successful in their attempt, then they will mark their Eid-al-Fitr celebrations on June 16, or else the festival will be celebrated on June 17.
