So what could be a better way to present your loved one with a rose? But let us tell you, with so many colors of them, each one has a different connotation. You sure do not want to give out a wrong message by picking up a wrong flower.

Red rose: Red rose a pretty obvious symbol of love and love alone! Red color itself is associated with romance and passion so if you are totally in love with someone, then let the red rose do the talking. Express your love and present them a bouquet full of red roses!

White rose: The color white signifies peace, so does a white rose! Earlier, it was the white rose which was the ultimate sign of love before the red became a sign. But since then, the white rose is a symbol of honesty and purity. It also suggests the purity of love and used commonly during weddings too. So you could present it at the early start of your relationship. It means a more of ‘I am thinking about you.’

Pink rose: A pink rose looks so pretty and beautiful, just like the message it conveys. A symbol of admiration, it is used to show affection towards the person. A dark pink rose means gratitude, while a lighter one means affection. You need not give it your significant other, but you can also present it to your best friends.

Yellow rose: If you want to convey a pure message of friendship then yellow rose will be your best choice. They send a message of happiness and joy for someone’s friendship. A warm color signifies the warmth of a relationship and is best to brighten someone’s day. So if you receive a yellow rose, accept it as a sign of friendship. Usually, yellow roses are also given when someone is sick and you want to give a ‘get well soon’ message.

Lavender rose: A lavender rose is very visually appealing and it is not so common. So the color of the rose itself makes the first impression. It stands for enchantment. Just as the rose captures your attention, it is said to convey a message of love at first sight. So this rose too is an expression of love and romance but has more implied meaning. The color was also traditionally associated with royalty.

Have you selected which rose you want to gift to your someone special? If you have been shy about your feelings, then let the rose do the talking. You could attach a small note along with presenting the flower, which conveys the significance better. You obviously do not want to send out any mixed signals.
