According to Drik Panchang, this year, the best time or shubh muhurat to tie rakhi begins at 06:51 am on August 26. The thread ceremony will remain for 13 hours and 4 minutes as it ends at 07:55 pm. On the other hand, the most auspicious time for Rakhi, muhurat for Aparahan lasts for 2 hours and 33 minutes. It begins at 01:34 pm and ends at 04:08 pm.
The Pradosh time for Raksha Bandhan 2018 falls at 06:41 pm to 07:55; lasting for an hour and 14 minutes. Purnima Tithi is slated to begin on August 25 at 05:46 pm and will continue till August 26, 07:55 pm.
