Prime Minister Narendra Modi has taken to social media wishing doctors and chartered accountants on their respective days. Wishing doctors' on National Doctors Day, the PM addressed their job as "one of the noblest professions of humanity". Modi took to Twitter saying that "it is s gladdening to see Indian doctors distinguishing themselves globally and being at the forefront of pathbreaking research and innovation".
Conveying wishes to Chartered Accountants on CA day he said that they play a "vital role in nation building". Modi tweeted saying, "I convey my best wishes to the community of Chartered Accountants on CA Day. May the CA community keep contributing towards India’s growth."
Chartered Accountants Day and National Doctors' Day is observed on July 1 every year in the country. He also wished Vice President Venkaiah Naidu on Twitter, who is celebrating his birthday today.

In India, the National Doctors' Day is celebrated to honour the legendary physician and the second Chief Minister of West Bengal, Dr Bidhan Chandra who was born and died on July 1. The day is celebrated to recognize the work and contributions of physicians people's daily life.
On the first anniversary of the GST regime Modi, today hailed the tax as a tool which brought growth, simplicity and transparency. He had termed it as a "festival of honesty" which has ended 'inspector raj' in the country. In his recent Mann Ki Baat radio address, PM Modi had described the Goods and Services Tax (GST) as a fine example of cooperative federalism.
