Date and History of National Youth Day:
Like every year, the National Youth Day 2020 will be celebrated on January 12. The date marks the birth anniversary of none other than Swami Vivekananda. The government of India, in 1984, that January 12, will now be observed as National Youth Day. Hence, every year from 1985, India celebrates National Youth Day annually.

Significance of National Youth Day
Swami Vivekananda is one of the most revered figures in Indian history. He is admired by people across religious, political, and socio-economical lines.
