There was no report of the new crescent moon in India and Pakistan today (July 29). Most parts of the Indian subcontinent declared July 31 as the first day of Muharram 2022 and Ashura on August 8 (the 10th day of Muharram).
The crescent moon of Hijri New Year 1444 has not been sighted today (July 29) in Pakistan. The first day of Muharram 2022 will start on July 31 and the Ashura on August 9 in the neighboring country, as per the media report.
