Ahmedabad, January 14: With the festive season of Makar Sankranti being celebrated with zeal and enthusiasm throughout the country on Monday, Bharatiya Janata Party president Amit Shah too flew a kite in Naranpura of Ahmedabad district of Gujarat.
Shah took to twitter and shared the images of flying kites on the festive occasion of Uttarayan along with his party leaders and wished people. He wrote, “Enjoyed flying kite in Naranpura, Ahmedabad. It is something I look forward to every Uttarayan. Earlier in the day, he wished people stating that the festival brings happiness in their lives. He wrote, “समस्त देशवासियों को मकर संक्रांति (उत्तरायण) के पावन पर्व की हार्दिक शुभकामनाएं।“

Along with Amit Shah, Prime Minister Narendra Modi too wished people on the festive occasion of Makar Sankranti.
