Mumbai, September 2: It's time for Mumbai's favourite deity, Lalbaughcha Raja as Ganeshotsav 2019 begins from Monday. Lalbaughcha Raja 2019 arrives to the "Maximum City" and Mumbaikars are bound to form a beeline to get a dharshan (sight) of Lord Ganesha. The celebrations of Ganeshotsav 2019 begins from September 2 this year. The festival marking the arrival of Lord Ganesha in individual homes or in public organisations, is celebrated with great enthusiasm in the state of Maharashtra. Lalbaugcharaja Opening Ceremony 2019

LALBAUGCHA RAJA GANESH UTSAV 2019 will be inaugurated on Monday 2nd September 2019, early morning 6.00 AM by the Mandal’s President Mr.Balasaheb Sudam Kamble. The same will be further followed by Pratishthapana Puja.

Post the Puja, LALBAUGCHA RAJA 2019 darshan will be opened to all the devotees from early morning 6.00 AM onwards and the Lalbaugcha Raja souvenir for 2019 will be published.

The Morning aarti will take place at 12.30 PM, by the Mandal’s President Mr.Balasaheb Sudam Kamble. The Night aarti will take place at 08.30 PM.

LALBAUGCHA RAJA 2019 DARSHAN:

Lalbaugcha Raja darshan for all devotees will be available for 24 hours from early morning 6.00 AM, Monday 2nd September 2019 onwards to 12.00 AM Wednesday 11th September 2019.

LALBAUGCHA RAJA 2019 CHARAN SPARSH (TOUCH THE FEET):

Lalbaugcha Raja Charan Sparsh will be available for 24 hours from early morning 6.00 AM, Monday 2nd September 2019 onwards. The darshan will be closed on Wednesday 11th September 2019, Morning 06.00 A.M.

Charan Sparsh (Touch the Feet) will take the following route: Dinshaw Petit Lane – G. D. Ambekar Marg. To reach here one can come from Lower Parel Station on Western Line and Curry Road Station on Central Line.

LALBAUGCHA RAJA 2019 MUKH DARSHAN:

Lalbaugcha Raja Mukh Darshan will be available for 24 hours from early morning 6.00 AM, Monday 2nd September 2019 onwards The darshan will be closed on Wednesday 11th September 2019, Midnight 12.00 AM.

MUKH DARSHAN line will take the following route:- Chhatrapati Shivaji

Ground (Garam Khada) – Dr. B. A. Road – Dattaram Lad Marg – T. B. Kadam Marg – Add’l C.P. office – Dr. B. A. Road – RANI BAUG on Central Line. To reach here one can come from Byculla Station. The Mukh Darshan queue is also reachable from Cotton Green Station on Harbour Railway.)

Lalbaugcha Raja is among the most famous Sarvajanik Ganpati Mandal in not just Mumbai but in the state of Maharashtra. The celebrations of Ganeshotsav have been taking place from the year 1934. The very first organisation of the festival on a public scale was done by fisherman and traders. This Ganesh Lord is said to fulfil all the wishes of his devotees.
