The name Karwa Chauth is derived from the two clay pots that are used during the festival. One pot is usually filled with water and the other pot is filled with milk. In the evening, women visit a nearby temple or go to a rooftop to break their fast after the moon rises. Husbands offer their wives water and as a symbol of their love and devotion and to help them break the fast. On that note, we wish everyone a blessed and happy Karwa Chauth 2024!
